About the Caliber

THE JETSETTER was named with intention. We designed it to cater to the traveler within, featuring both a date display and dual time zone functionality. To achieve this, we chose Caliber Number C125 from Soprod SA, a Swiss manufacturer that has been developing mechanical movements since 1966 using in-house components.

Here are some key characteristics of this caliber:

  • Automatic, self-winding mechanical

  • Diameter is 25.60mm

  • Height is 4.10mm

  • 25 Jewels (a)

  • ~42 hour Power Reserve

  • 28,800 bph, 4Hz

  • Incabloc Anti-Shock System

  • Bidirectional Winding

  • Complications: central hours, central minutes, central sweeping seconds, date, hacking seconds (b), and an independent central GMT hand (c.)

(a) A mechanical watch jewel is a small, synthetic gemstone used as a bearing to reduce friction and wear in the moving parts of a watch's mechanism.

(b) Hacking seconds is a feature in mechanical watches where the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out to set the time, allowing for more precise time synchronization.

(c) A GMT hand is an additional watch hand that completes one full rotation every 24 hours, used to display a second time zone. It's the triangular hand you see on the watch below. In addition to adjusting this hand, you can rotate the bezel and align it with the hour of the second time zone that you want to track. This allows you to keep your main time at home and quickly switching the bezel every time you land in a new time zone.

We hope this detailed look at THE JETSETTER's movement has piqued your interest. Whether you're a frequent flyer or simply appreciate fine horological craftsmanship, it is designed to meet your needs with style and precision.
